Generator

Because your generator isn't always in use, you might not realize there's an issue until you need it. An Energy Savings Agreement safeguards against malfunctions by doing a thorough check of the batteries, the fuel lines, the output, ventilation and safety features as well as all the other parts that keep it running when the lights go out.

Dehumidifier

If you have a whole-house dehumidifier, indoor air quality is important to you. Maintaining your unit with regular tune-ups is critical to keeping you comfortable. Because the dehumidifier works in conjunction with your HVAC, it makes sense to do scheduled maintenance at the same time, making it more convenient for you and ensuring that your whole system is working together in harmony.

Common Questions About Our Energy Savings Agreements

What Happens to My ESA Agreement When I Move?

No worries! We can transfer your ESA Agreement to your new home or the new homeowner. Plus, we are happy to pass along any unused benefits. Just give us a call with new address or the contact information of the new homeowner and we'll take care of getting everything done.

Can I Pay for the Year Upfront?

Yes! We find that some people prefer to pay for the year (or multiple years) upfront. We are happy to do that and we offer discounts for multiple years or multiple systems. We also offer convenient monthly payments. Just let us know what works best for you!

Why is HVAC Maintenance Important?

Not keeping your system properly maintained is one of the top reasons systems break down or fail prematurely. Just like a car needs regular maintenance to keep it running smoothly, so do your HVAC systems! This important service will help keep newer systems running factory-fresh and will help improve the efficiency of older systems, too.

Routine maintenance, often referred to as tune-ups, will help keep your systems running at peak performance to:

  • Increase Efficiency & Comfort
  • Increase Safety
  • Keep Energy Costs in Check
  • Reduce Breakdowns
  • Keep Warranties in Force
  • And, When Done Consistently, Promote Longer System Life!

What brands of HVAC systems do you cover with the ESA Agreement?

We provide maintenance on almost every heating system, air conditioner, heat pump, and mini split regardless of the brand or manufacturer.

The most popular manufacturers in Mobile AL, Mobile AL and the surrounding areas are:

  • Lennox
  • Trane
  • Payne
  • American Standard
  • Rheem
  • Carrier
  • Bryant
  • Rudd
  • Amana
  • Daikin
  • Mitsubishi
  • Fujitsu
  • Goodman

If you don't see the manufacturer of your heating system listed here – don’t worry. Just give us a call, more than likely we will be able to take care of you!

Why is Dehumidifier Maintenance Important?

Like any household system, your dehumidifier also requires maintenance to operate at peak performance and to continue protecting your home from excess moisture. Your dehumidifier has a filter that helps remove gunk and pollutants in the air, just like your HVAC system, and needs regular cleaning, especially during periods of frequent use. Though dehumidifiers are generally considered a low-maintenance system, annual maintenance done by the professionals at Batchelor's Service can help ensure your dehumidifier is operating as it should be and can help extend the system's life.

Why is Tankless Water Heater Maintenance Important?

Though tankless water heaters don’t physically store water like their standard water heater counterparts, they still require routine annual maintenance to ensure that all the components are working as they should. Tankless water heaters should have their filters cleaned and the system flushed at least once a year to remove the mineral buildup, especially if you live in an area with hard water. Mineral build-up can damage the heat exchanger in the unit and lower efficiency and hot water output, which can ultimately lead to a costly breakdown and higher energy costs. Because tankless water heaters are more complex, it is best to leave your tankless water heater maintenance to the professionals at Batchelor's Service.

Why is Generator Maintenance Important?

Unlike your HVAC system, your generator isn’t used daily, weekly, or even monthly - you only need it when you need it, but when the time comes you need it to work. The best way to ensure your generator will fire up during a power failure is to service it annually. Generator maintenance ensures proper functionality, increases efficiency, helps prevent fuel problems and costly breakdowns, and provides you with the peace of mind of knowing your generator is on standby and ready to go.
