Larry Batchelor and his father, Bruce Batchelor, founded Batchelor’s
Heating & Cooling in 1967 when the two set up shop in what was
formerly a grocery store. Larry performed the service work and Bruce
handled the sales. In spite of tremendous growth since those early
years, Batchelor’s Service has maintained that hometown character
of caring and personal service. Dedicated to producing work that is
a source of pride for both the employee and the customer is the cornerstone
the company was founded upon. In 1997, Batchelor’s was acquired
by Comfort Systems USA to meet the needs of Commercial customers. On
July 1, 2002 the Residential Division, Batchelor’s Service is
back locally owned by two long time employees, Edward S. Leatherbury,
President and General Manager and Charles Norris, Vice President and
Service Manager. Mr. Leatherbury became affiliated with the company
in 1988 when the Residential Service division was in its infancy. Mr.
Norris has been affiliated since 1980 as a service technician and later
service manager in the residential division.
Batchelor’s Service is serious about providing our customers
with the best. Starting with a fleet of 22 service vehicles, an excellent
dispatch system and service hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday – Saturday
and 24 hr. emergency service, we’re ready to be there when you
need us. You can trust our technicians to be professional, courteous
and efficient.

service, you become a priority customer, eligible for service 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year.
